National Magnetic Clock Corp., Buffalo, NY

National Magnetic Clocks were made under license with the Tiffany Never-Wind Clock Company, Buffalo, NY. Tiffany Never-Wind Clock was invented by George Steele Tiffany who is best known for the glassed domed torsion pendulum clocks such as the # 1 model pictured below. Tiffany also licensed Niagara and Cloister to make similar clocks domed clocks.

The Serial and style numbers can be found on the back on the operational plate. Tiffany was in business from 1901 until around 1920 and made a large number of the domed clocks in three different sizes and styles and few of the National Magnetic or early Tiffany crystal regulator models being made. The pure art deco style of the National Magnetic tends to suggest that they were made at the end of the Tiffany production around 1920 when inexpensive synchronous plug-in clocks took most of this clock market.
